Located on the boardwalk of Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, the Casino Ballroom is an iconic venue for live music. Its season runs from April to November and features about 70 shows each season. In 2010, it was ranked #23 on Pollstar’s Top 100 Club Venues in the world. It has been home to many major performances and events, including an Extreme Championship Wrestling show on May 20, 1999. It has also hosted several WWE House shows.
The Ballroom is located at 437 E. 26th Street. Since opening on Sept. 14, 1947, the Casino has been a social hub in the city. Musicians like Lalo Guerrero, Duke Ellington, Little Joe Hernandez, Tito Puente, and James Brown have all performed at the venue. The ballroom’s original capacity was 1,200 people. The Casino reopened the Ballroom in 2000 and has become a destination for many special events.
The Casino Ballroom features an elevated stage, a spacious dance floor, and a full-service bar. Guests will be impressed by the 20,000-square-foot ballroom, which has a diameter of 180 feet. Its unique design also features an open balcony that wraps around the building. The Catalina Casino Ballroom is a great venue for special events of any size.
The Lake Worth Casino Building also features a 3,000-square-foot ballroom, which offers spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. Its historic 1920’s architecture is still present, and while it no longer offers gambling, the Casino remains true to the original 1920’s style. A unique aspect of this casino is that it retains the Casino name.
